Initial patterns for two garments failed under real construction physics. The wrap pant's zero-stretch poplin risked a bulky 'scrunchie' waistband; the bodysuit's crotch draft had no actual entry mechanism. Both were corrected, checked against the FNTKS master spec in CAD, and greenlit for cutting.
See details →Invisible zipper + deep self-fabric facing
The zero-stretch poplin waistband was heading for a bulky 'scrunchie' read. An inserted invisible zipper and deep self-fabric facing gave the wrap-front a clean closure and flat finish.
3-inch Ballet Envelope Gusset + 3cm cantilevered shoulder
The crotch draft lacked an entry mechanism and the shoulder sat wrong. A re-drafted 3-inch Ballet Envelope Gusset solved body entry, while a 3cm cantilevered drop-shoulder gave the boxy tee its intended articulation.
CAD validation against the FNTKS master spec
Both pieces were checked in CAD against the FNTKS master spec and greenlit for cutting.
