ORIM Athletics
A technical design engagement for a growing independent school football program. I led pattern development and design direction for a tiered uniform system, incorporating direct athlete and coaching staff feedback on fit, ventilation, durability and branding through collaborative review sessions.
See details →Design direction shaped with players and coaches
Design review sessions with players and coaching staff gathered direct feedback on fit, ventilation, durability and branding preferences. That input guided pattern development rather than assumptions about how the kit would be worn.
Construction methods reviewed for bulk and durability
Reviewed construction and joining methods to reduce bulk and improve durability, working from player feedback on comfort and fit at the shoulder, collar and side seams.
Mesh panelling revised for on-field conditions
Players raised turf debris collecting in open mesh panelling. Panel placement and mesh selection were revised so ventilation stayed effective without trapping material during play.
Neckline shape and logo placement refined
Neckline shape, colourways and logo placement were refined across review rounds based on player and coaching preference, keeping the kit recognisable while comfortable in motion.
Tech packs developed for production
The engagement delivered developed patterns and tech packs covering the tiered system, giving the program documentation it could take to a manufacturer.
